In 1961, Dusan Trbojevic, a pianist and a pedagogue, created SOMUS, the oldest classical music festival in Serbia.
Developing his pedagogic approach to concerts over decades, he created special relationship with the public via his Sombor festival. The audience, mobilized and engaged, became a living part of the festival.
Fifty years later, the new SOMUS follows the same ideas.
As a window for newfound , as a podium for world-famous.
From local to global.
From classic to current.
Reminds of the old and provokes with the new.
Enlightens with past creations and sanctifies new ones.
Creating space for the upcoming.
From the past. To the future.
